Many kings and emperors have been famous for their hobbies. Indian history is full of glorious kings, as well as their strange stories are famous. Maharaja Mahabat Khan Rasool Khan



This King of Junagadh has been famous for his unique hobby. He had a unique hobby of raising dogs. This king had almost 800 dogs in his palace, for every dog a servant is appointed in the service. These dogs were treated by a British surgeon.  He also arrange his dogs for getting married. At that time, about Rs 22,000 was spent in this unique marriage, which is currently worth approximately 2.25 crore rupees.  At the same time, on the day of marriage, he allots a holiday in the state. And on the death of a single dog one holiday is alloted.


Maharaja Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan




The hobby of Hyderabad's Maharaja Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan was not even less.  He was very fond of precious gems. During his time he purchased many precious gems including Jacob Diamond. It was the world's fifth largest 184.97 carat Jacob diamonds which he used it as a paperweight. But after his death, these diamonds were deposited in the treasury of the Government of India. Because of the fondness of diamonds, he had nearly 2 billion dollars of treasure.

Maharaja Jay Singh



Everyone is aware of his majestic look, but Maharaj Jai Singh of Alwar is famous for his revenge, which has made him immortal in the pages of history. Maharaj Jai Singh of Alwar, took out 10 cars roofs to take revenge from renowned car company Rolls Royce to lift them for insulting King. Later the car company had to persuade him by apologizing to him.

Maharaja Ganga Singh



Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner was a very kind king, his hobby was quite different from others. He used to donate gold to the poors, the manner in which the Maharaja of Bikaner Ganga Singh showed affection for his people was quite different. He is said to be the distributor of gold to the poors. Once upon a time, he divided the gold equivalent to the weight of the poors.

Maharaja Jagjit Singh



Maharaja Jagjit Singh was the Maharaja of Kapurthala. But the hobby of Maharaj Jagjit Singh was quite different. He was the biggest customer of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton boxes. He had nearly 60 large Louis Vuitton boxes in his Castle. Jagjit Singh, the very fond of the journey, used to take all these boxes with him everywhere he goes.
